I am the one responsible for my own learning

Well it happened sometimes in my trainings, and mostly after the training, that people are still busy with trainer attitude or with how many pauses were or weren’t during it.

Of course in a training it is very important trainer’s attitude.
And it has almost the same amount of importance the length or number of pauses.
Like any other details of the training.

I like to prepare a training very detailed, with a close look to each and every single piece.
In my own perspective, they should perfectly fit together, to create the best learning experience for a participant.

The sources of success

The sources of success

The observation

What I notices in the follow-up session or reviews is people talking about successes they have or have not while pursuing their objectives or purposes.

In these sharing, I hear very often that success means getting a desired result and failure means not getting a desired result.

So, if someone got a desired result, then it presents this as being a success. If he/she got a result, but not the desired one, or no result, then automatically he/she labels this as being unsuccessful.

The interpretation

I thinking believing desired result as the single source of success is a limiting thinking.

Because, in this case, every other type of outcome that come from your actions is automatically considered failure or something similar.

Coaching for coaches – a training that I enjoyed

What does it mean a training for coaching and why should I go there?

I had this ideea in mind when I applied to Training for Practical communication and Coaching, training organized by Synergy and Olde Vechte foundation.

Before going to this training I’ve already been in Ommen, Holland at Olde Vecthe Foundation 4 times:
- as participant at Basic Training
- as participant at Advanced Training (now evolved and called Choice)
- as co-trainer at Advanced Training
- as participant at Training for Trainers

I really enjoyed all the experiences there.
All trainings follow a unity in approaches and method: they create a space to fully express yourself, to discover and develop your strenghts.

For me this training was about core qualities

Monday Saying – 16th August

Be there for yourself. Be the best version of your thoughts each moment.

As each day brings new moments. Never experienced so far.
Learnings from the past can be a bridge to the future.
And still, each moment is an opportunity to live. Each second a new life stands in front of you and there is no need to stretch and touch it.
It is there for you to be.
No matter what was or will be, you always have in front of you all the options available. To touch and feel and sense.
Mystery of life is mystery of moments.

Simply Better – Taking one challenge at a time

How it started

A few months ago I’ve read the book “The Power of Less” of Leo Babauta.
An interesting book about simply organizing life about a simplified time management, allowing yourself to focus on the most important things.
Also I’ve started to came across with many articles about ToDo lists and Organizing projects and pros and cons about all of them.

And before that I was saying this thing for months: “Less is more”. So after reading the book, I’ve decided it is time to Walk the Talk and take some initiatives
